Lydia spent most of her time behind bars at the Westchester Animal Hospital. Due to the new fenced area at WHS, she can spend time outside the bars. See her play in the video below.

The Tortorella Foundation is proud to share the opening of a wonderful new fenced-in area for the dogs and cats at the Westchester Humane Society!

For the first time in the lives of these specials animals (at least those who’ve lived at the shelter for years), they get to run and play with toys that they have not been able to play with in their small kennel runs.  The toys sat in a drawer, mostly unusable, because the animals can’t play with them unwatched due to choking hazzards.   Now they can run and play and socialize with other dogs and get training!

The Tortorella Foundation and family is incredibly excited about this major improvement to WHS!
